Either a line driver into a splitter under the dash as close to the radio as possible or (and probably better) get a good processor and crossover to put in the back by the amps.

 
Im still not sure of how your CD pre-outs are but with mine i used two mono amps with a 6 channel amp... On my cd pre- out i had Front ( left & right ) back ( left & right ) and one for sub ( left and right ). If your amps have a line out then you could use that like i did. I also used some Y splitters when i was running my subs off my 6 channel amp so Y splitters are fine.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Perhaps you changed something without mentioning it here? Maybe a loose turn on line? I dunno man...but we'll take it. Hopefully it keeps working. 👍
