3/4" tweeter vs 1" tweeter KSC694 vs KSC6934

Which would you choose?

6x9 1" dome tweeter 2 way speaker or 3/4" dome tweeter 3 way speaker or the 6.5" DS 2 way?

Judging by both crutchfield and amazon's top rated products it appears that most people seem to prefer 3 way's. I am just not sure if having a 1" tweeter vs a 3/4" tweeter would make a real difference in music overall.

I was going to go kenwood excelon's, but they do not fit without modifying the door panels which is something I want to avoid should I ever decide to sell the vehicle and reinstall the factory gear.
