Dash speakers, full range or 2way...

Buying a 16 mazda cx5 this week. Has a Bose system that runs 3 3.5inch speakers on the dash. No tweeters. The system doesn't sound horrible but swapping those dash speakers is a must . I'm pretty sure one of the speakers is blown anyways. So since the stock system is not using tweeters, I'm considering swapping the dash speakers with some better full range replacements instead of 2 way coaxials. Im thinking 3 tweeters aimed at the glass would be pretty bright if I use 2way speakers. So possibly dayton audio nd91-4 full range. But I've never used full range speakers. Looking for feedback on using small full range speakers for mid and highs. I'd have 3 aimed up at windshield. Any info or advice would be helpful

I wouldn't like the sound of just a full range up top. I would miss a tweeter. A lot of guys that run full ranges also say unless they are on axis you will miss a lot of top end. The Daytons will still sound better than the stocks you are replacing

That's sort of what I figured. So then my next question would be about tweeters. I'm worried 3 tweeters aimed at glass will be to bright, and stock radio just has standard 3band eq. Will tweeter material truly make the highs smoother. I'm looking at Infinity REF-3022cfx because textile tweeter is supposed to be smooth. And I think you can choose between 0 or +3db.
