3/4 Mdf

And if i already had the parts cut? cant recalculate the volume now.... but it is a large box so It more in likely will flex..... should I just add a 2" brace in the middle to hold things down?

Flex is bad.

I mean, if you have a piece of stock thats 2x2x16 ... I just used 16 as the number for your height, I don't really know what the exact number is ... anyway, 2x2x16 is only .037ft^3 ... you can add 3 of those and you'll only end up subtracting .111ft^3 brace displacement - hopefully your box is a little bigger than spec //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

just use riv-nuts or clip-nuts, made for blind fastening. some window weld should hold the ring on there pretty good..... being 4x6, you could...

I say go for it. Just add some kind of bracing to the bigger panels. Some old home speaker boxes were made of 3/8" mdf. Maybe not even mdf, some...

Yea. That's what I did. I mixed the glue with the dust from sanding and fill in the bigger holes. Then filled the rest with wood filler..works awesome
