3.4 enough for 15" mt?

I have asked this in 3 other places on this forum, but never got an answer, I need to know this before I leave so Im posting this in a more crowded section. Is 3.4 cu ft enough for the 15" re mt? Simple yes or no question.

well im not so knowledgeable on re subs. But I would say 3.4 might be good for a sealed box. But I heard that the MTs arent too big on sealed enclosures, just like the SXs.

Oh well im just going to make the box bigger and redo the math i did and hope that it will fit in the back.

I would assume the box is too small and needs to be a large ported enclosure, but like I said I have no knowledge of such drivers. Not my bag.

Search? Im sure you could find some threads were people have asked the same thing, that seems too small though, I would think 5 cube would be better, but Ive never used a 15mt

Well i did search, but couldnt find threads that would tell me the least possible space I can use for the mt. But after replanning I came up with a box thats 4 cu. And I just measured the back of the van, and thank god, it is such a tight fit.

Should work fine, smaller and tuned higher should be louder on mic than a big box tuned lower, should......

Im going for low tuning and more sq. I dont need anything thats too loud. I might sell the mt after I play it for a couple months since I really wanted to know how it sounds, then move on to different subs and experience

I had a MT 18 in a 4.4 cube box tuned kinda high. 40-55hz was painful and got me dizzy easily. very very peaky box but...it is also meant to be peaky. 3.4 cubes tuned to what?

3.4 should be fine. and you really wouldnt see much a difference from 3.4 - 4
