Which would you pick???

Both running off a Crescendo at 2 ohms for awhile (2,000 rms) then when I get a good alt running it at half ohm (4,500 rms)

2 18" BTL's with P Chamfer and the HiXm coil

2 18" DC Level 4 XL's Stock

Running 3,500 rms

3 15" DC level 4's stock might be able to come up with the extra money for the level 5 coils to run 4,000 rms

impossible to tell.. both will be similar in output.. the level 4s will be abit more peaky around tuning if thats what your looking for but there both going to SLAM...

Pretty spot on info here.

I'd port the BL around 34-36

And the Level 4 around 32-34

Though it is not a major difference.

The peak around tuning helps if seeking out those low lows.

Okay, DC it is!! But what would you guys recommend for 3k? I'm looking at the Alpine's or the Crescendo 3kwp. What would I need for electrical to run 3k?

problem with running 3 subs is u cant get to 1 ohm id rather run 2 18's about same surfave area. get a crescendo and run it at .5 ohm on 2 xl's 15's, save u some money

15" circle area is about 177 sq. in. 354 more cone area 2 15's hmmmmmm 2 btl's or level 4 xls same price

12" circle area is about 113 sq. in +339 total

Two 18" = 508.94

Three 15" = 530.14

not much difference 2 18 inch btl's vs 3 level 4's on a crescendo at .5 ohm vs .66 and the box rise of 3 subs will be much more.

Okay well the reason I chose the 3 15's was less money on electrical upgrades but now that I think about it I could do 2 18's and run it at like 3k for awhile I could actually run it less until I get an H/O alt then run it at half ohm at 14.4 volts. So I guess I'm torn

2 18" XL's on like 2k till I can get H/O alt then 4.5k

3 15" Lvl 4's on 3k on a Cresendo 3kwp

btl's over xl's their on different levels and yes will be cheaper in the long run same cone area and will use less space as in box.

cooling option and if u want high xmax so it will sound a lil better then do that 4 10 dollars extra, will be a better daily

414.00 each so 828

3 bls with cooling and shipping will be a lot more for the 972.00 before shipping

$ 858.00 2 btls with free cooling right now and high xmax before shipping and shipping will be 1 sub less.

Okay well how can I change the poll??? Also could I do big 3 on a stock alt then when I get the H/O can I just reuse the same big 3 wire?

yea the alternators will just swap out they will look the same exact, what is this going in

yea u can run it at 2k for a while at 2 ohm then when u get the alternator run it at .5 ohm it will work out a lot better 4 u. and cheaper as u can see
