I am buying an ext cab Ford Ranger pickup. I have, in my hands, both: 3 8" Kicker Solo Baric 8's (round old skool style 8 ohm) Or I have 3 12" JL W6's v1s.

I want good to great sound quality and when I feel like it, I want to crank it up and be able to push at LEAST low 140's. I am willing to do fiberglass etc.

Which would you put in?

I thought the round solo8's were mechanically noisy when I had mine installed. I'd go with the jl's.
Really? The JL's have NO motor noise. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Next question For the JL's:

500@4ohms Alpine power from the bridged rear channels of a 4 ch MRV-F550

or 800(or more)@4ohms PPI power from a PCX2200?

what about holding out for the SI BM 10's?
Well I PAID and HAVE the JLw6's... I figure i should get my use out of them before I have to sell them and lose TONS of money. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif If I have money I might switch later if I'm bored.
