: i used to have three 10W3 subs in my mustang. it was a nice fiberglass install. it rocked pretty good. i recorded 147 db's once, with like 1050 watts running to them.

I think he said it the best, back in like... 02 i think it was? lol. I have the same subs, but for some reason, mine dont seem anywhere near that.

Pic of box here.

any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, i am running an audiobahn a8002t amp, 800w rms. And thats a sealed box. The subs are wired both + together, then to the next sub, same with -.

Thanks guys!

seriously..if u port them and get 1500watts amp..u will be in the high 140's

if i can do low 140's with 2 10w3's(2001 models) with 1200watts..i know u can hit mid to high 140's with 3 of them in a ported box

There is a difference, some use 5/8 inch particle board and some good companies use 1 inch thick MDF. Either way if I had the space I would go ported like the others said and tune around 32 hz.

well, i have a 1997 chevy tahoe, so room isnt a problem. But the tuning thing, i mean... i dont think im a total newb, but tuning the box to 32hz... totally out of my league. lol. i have no idea what you are talking about. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
