3 1/2's worthy?

what would be a good 3 1/2" dash speaker to use, lookin for SQ for these. and would they be worth amplifying?also if they are worth amplifying how expensive would it be to get a pair with a high enough rms to handle it

i probably wouldn't spend the money on 3 1/2's, just spend more and get a set of components, they'll sound alot better

i need somethin to put in the dash of my el camino and thats what i figured would be the best. as far as components, where would i put everything?

componenets go in what we call kickpanels, which are located down by your feet. infinity kappas are good enough, they would be alot better than any 3.5's, if you do a few searches you'll find more info on components...

if you search, you'll find that you dont need to cut out holes for the speaker in your actualy car, that's what the kickpanels are for, i'd show you more but im too tired lol

3.5's are pretty much a waste....and you definitely shouldn't amplify them, they tend to have a very low RMS.

Components - go to a local shop and have them install them in cutom kick panels for you - they will be on the ground near your feet angled up at the driver/passenger seats = good for sound imaging.

Brands - CDT, Crystal, Image Dynamics, Infinity, MB Quart, Diamond Audio, Kicker, etc
