ok i have designed a box to fit my car to get the most cubic feet i can get. and i have 3.09 internal cubes. and i want to get 2 re se's. now my question is- wich will perform the best?-- 2 10" se's sealed with ~1.5 cubes each --- 2 10" se's ported with~1.5 cubes each-- 2 12" se's sealed with ~1.5 cubes each -or-- 2 12" se's ported with ~1.5 cubes each. i will be getting a jbl 1200.1 to power them and i am looking for manely SPL but a little SQ too. so wich will perform the best? thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

if your going for mostly spl, I say go ported with either the 10 or the 12's (i would say 10's because 1.5 per sub is kind of shallow for those 12's).

How well would 2 10" Se's do in around 1 cu ft sealed a peice? ON say jbl 1200.

get loud, sound alright while doing it. I dunno what i would do with 1.5, save room and give up SPL (1.0 sealed), or use the room but risk making it sound bad ( 1.5 ported)

sorry i didnt get that are u answering mine or his question? and how would a 10" ported be with 1.5 cubes?

oh, woops, i guess i kinda answered both questions. Well 1.5 is kinda small, but im guessing it would sound fine. If not, cut that port off, and seal it... If you go 1.5 ported just use some polyfill also, should sound good though..

they'll be nice, but really those subs love ported box's. I wouldnt both with polyfill for a 1.0 cu ft box w/ those subs.

How about if they share a chamber? I'm gonna try to get every miniscule cubic foot out of my truck and i think i can get ~3.2 cubes out of it.

wow 3.2 in a single cab s-10....... Must be a small guy. I'm barly fitting 2 Cu ft.

u should be fine sharing a chamber, although some dont recomend it, IMO as long as ur not an idiot, its not worth the time to make another peice of wood. basically personal preference.
