2x10 Sealed Enclosure, Simple question.

Building a simple sealed enclosure for 2 x JL 10W6's. The old school ones..

Following JL's guide, they recommend 18 wide, 11 height, 9 depth.

My question is a simple/stupid question. Since i'm building for two subs, I'm going to double the width, but should I build two individual sealed chambers? Or make it one single chamber?

I'm assuming 2 sealed chambers, but just want some input from the experts..

u can do a single chamber or seal each sub chamber off. totally up to you. if u split the chambers, i guess it would provide a brace inside the box.

just make sure u get the right size box...

Keeping them in separate chambers will also reduce the chances of one sub damaging the other if one crapped out. With them sharing a common chamber, if one sub goes, the other typically follows. I'd make it separate chambers. This is typically only a risk with sealed enclosures as ported enclosures, by design, don't lend themselves to that issue.
