2x Mono or Split

If I were to power two Pioneer/Premier W3004's would it be easier and more cost effective to run two monos at 2ohm or run both off one more powerful amp?

No difference.

From a wiring perspective, would be cheaper/easier just to run one larger amp.

Yea thats true save like 7 feet of monster cable heh

yeah....just run a single mono amp. Easier and cheaper installation, and really a single larger amp is probably a little cheaper than a pair of amps of equivalent wattage of the same brand/model.
