this amp will do 5000w on a roll up burp only starting at .25ohm not on music but a burp it does about the same power as a ab 500.1 or a atomic 5k at .25ohm it also isnt great on music cause it hates vibration

I did a drop in test against the AB500.1 and the dd was 7 tenths louder than the AB.Did not do any clamp tests at that time.On the serial numbers I can't remember you'd have to call DD just as I did.I ran 4 of these on one battery street max Strapped two together on one sub .5 ohm

i really think everybody is confusing the dd z1 with the ddz1a totally different amps

I'm quite sure I'm not.

as for serial numbers, I have one of the first Z1 amps, and also a newer one...

the older one appears to have had the turn on pop mod done, while the newer one doesn't!

also, there are a few other differences between the two internally.

but, the older one has been used to play music at 0.25 ohms, been run off a stock battery giving ~3000watts and going into protect due to low voltage, but has never missed a beat,

while the newer Z1 has blown up numerous times (before I bought it second hand) and now I'm trying to fix it, again, and fix the horrible job someone did fixing it in the past!

So are these Z1. Z1a. Or Z1b. They are posted as 5k rms. Which makes them seem like z1b? What ever they are..what's camparible for daily.. Surely these make more then like a rd 3250. Or sundown 3k daily??

yes, these are the original Z1 amps.

rated at 3000watts rms into 1 ohm, with 12volt battery...

measured to give more.

Tell me what these put out honestly at 12v, and I think I have a friend who will buy 1 or 2 of them. He's spending a lot on redoing 1 of his 5 new cars lol

But also, PM me on prices for sundown amps. He needs anywhere from 4-6000 watts rms

They were rated 3k and users have clamped them closer to 5k.
