i would definitely stick with the 40.1.

i dont think there is anything wrong with the aq's, but i loved my 20.1 so much i gotta lean that direction.

I'd also stick with the 40.1

While the AQ's strapped may push a bit more power, it's not worth the money when you already have the 40.1 in my opinion.

the only problem is that I have 2 3518s that are DVC 2 ohms and I can either run at 2 ohms or .5 ohms. If i got the AQs I could strap at 2 ohms

as well as with the extra current the AQs strapped would pull wouldnt give you that much more power(if any depending on your electrical system)

40.1... i think you would see a minimal increase. and you save space with the 1 amp

according to scottie johnson (take it for what you will) the 40.1 will do 44-4800 at 1 ohm. no sense in essentially switching power into a different ohm range, unless you're hoping to gain a bit of efficiency. but at 4kw+, id just put that money into more electrical instead (although, im not sure at what price youd be picking up the aq's)

AQ's have a nice lil clip LED

other than that its worth it to stick with the 40.1

i ran my pr of 40.1s strapped at .8 for burps at sbn this year. awesome amps
