2nd ever enclosure build

I just make everything in solid inches for the exterior, that way you'll never end up with anything more precise than a quart inch anywhere. It's too easy to make it any more difficult than that. Hell, if 1" MDF was cheaper, lighter, and more readily available, I'd be using that so I could have even inch measurements for everything. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I have a question...Since I didnt make one side of the L port long enough... one side is shorter than the other. I can flip it around so on the back wall, there's around 3 inches to the wall instead of the 3 1/2 it's supposed to be. If i flip it the other way, It's about a 4 1/2 inch space away from the wall. Which way should i flip it? Or is the mess up so much that i should just redo the port? Correct me if Im wrong but if the space from the back wall to the port is smaller, it should lower the tune right?

Got my dcons!

I put one of these beautys in 2.25 cubs @ 36 hz and it sang! The sound quality was infinately better than the mb quart I had in there previously. It was running off a kac-x20 that could have given it 520 watts, but I really didn't want to push it right out of the box! haha. My enclosure should be finished tomorow.

Would I be able to run one of these subs for a day or two by itself before putting it in the new enclosure with the other one? Would there be a problem with not letting them break in together? Or should there be no problems?

is it 2 separate boxes or 1 both with a shared chamber? i personally would just wait, it will sound like crap if it's a shared chamber

Its a shared box 3.2 cubes at 30 hz. So I'm guessing I should just wait then?

yea, not only is it gonna be way oversized for 1 sub but that 2nd hole for the sub is just gonna **** with your tuning and make the sub sound terrible
What? I have both subs lol. The box i want to use it in is for a single sub. But I'm just wondering that if breaking one of them in seperately from the other is going to mess with the sound of the new enclosure when both of them are in.
