2nd alt vs HO alt?

If im going to run around 1500-2k rms in my next build i wanna add an alt or upgrade to an HO. What would be the difference in adding an HO alt vs adding a 2nd 100 amp alt. I can get a 100amp replacement for my car for around

Well if your voltage is staying above 13.5v, there is no need to touch anything.
