The pics of the cone show the only bad mark on it on the dustcap. All it is, is the paper peeled off a little. There is a spot that looks cracked on there if it shows in the pics but I can assure you it isnt. It is a little glue from the dustcap. 225 SHIPPED!!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif:crazy:

Power handling on this sub is 2000rms and would take 3-4k on burps! It is a dual 4 ohm

what would a recone for that cost any idea?... looks intresting.
you would have to have it re-coned by some one like RE, FI, or another build house, it would have to be somewhat custom as all of the old tooling and parts have been either lost or destroyed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

**** that thing has high BL
it has waaaaaay high Bl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. these things are beasts. and if you notice the dustcap, it looks that way because i added this dustcap after the original one got damaged. the replacement dustcap is significantly heavier than the original, and it lowered the FS by about 6 Hz iirc, and the Q remained completely unchanged //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

what other woofers use that style motor?

bump for a good price
none that i am aware of. this is a rather old woofer, and a very great woofer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . GZ had quite a name for themselves before they went out of business.

is this a spl oriented sub? how did it preform? ever metered?
it is an SQ oriented sub that just happens to get nasty loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif . in the trunk of my taurus (note, trunk car) it did a 145 legal, all doors/windows closed, using a box that was not designed for this sub at all... this was also done with about 800 watts.

and the sub sounds incredible. this is actually the woofer that the SI Mag was modeled after. when nick was first planning out what he wanted, he was shooting to be close to the nukes in both SQ and SPL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .

looks like a treo motor kinda
this was made quite a while before treo was around i believe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .
