I had a 4 door Jimmy before and with the same system I felt that it was louder in the 2 door Blazer I have now. But I have no real proof...

The 4 door will have more room which means you could fit more equipment.

yes they are sexy but 4 door is better for audio

2 door has about enough room for 2 15s without wall. 4 door can sqeeze 3 with no wall....just depends if you want to use your back seats. spl wise, with wall....no difference except more space. No wall, again depends on back seats but I'd say 2 door higher spl, 4 door will give a lower resonant freq because it's larger cabin.

I have a 4 door that gets **** loud...and looks better than a 2 door.

With the same set-up I would think the 2 door would be louder though.

A two door by theory will be louder because with a four door you have those extra doors and more places to leak air. With a two door there are less places for air to leak and less flex so by theory should be louder.

You've heard all the theories. More room in the bigger one for more equipment. Less space in the smaller ones for less air space to compress. Most serious SPL blazers I can think back to were 2-doors.
