I have a VGA500.4, currently just 2 channels utilized to push a 12inch SVC sub at 500watts...I'm about to get a new 12inch DVC sub which power handling can be up to 1000watts, so i'm thinking of fully utilize the 4 channels of the VGA amp, i saw that there's one option switch at the amp named as "input mode", you can either select 2 channel or 4 channel if not mistaken, what does this switch do? can i just use a single pair of RCA to fully utilized the 4 channels amp to push the DVC subwoofer?
I knew there's amplifier out there that can do this by re-routing the signals to the other channels by just 1 pair of RCA...can VGA amp do this as well, i'm asking about this because it does not covered in the manual...my friend did advise me to get rid of this 4 channel VGA and get a 2 channel to whack the DVC sub, but i'm thinking of keeping it since it always more flexible to have a 4 channel than a 2 channel, perhaps if the new sub aint that power hungry, i just use 2 channel out of it and the remaining two channel i can play with it, either for rear fill or 3 ways setup... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
