i posted on here off and on lookin for advice and honestly still dont know enough about the car audio industry to really kno what to do. i told myself i would sell my jl slash 250/1 for something bigger...easier said then done. i recieved the amp for free so might as well keep it. i am not lookin to bring the house down but what sub would run at 250rms, sound loud for the wattage, and cost around $100 or less. I heard a memphis sub that ran at 250rms and it impressed me. i looked online to find out its not easy to find online. is there another 250rms sub i should look at? appreciate the help guys.

tempting, let me get some answers to my question first bro. like i said i heard a 250rms sub today and it sounded good enough to me. im sure this slash will sound good if yall point me towards the right sub.

alright i found it on woofersetc.com.....is this the recomended site? its on there for $80 which is appealing. have yall heard one of this first hand with 250rms going to it? i dont wanna go through with this and not hear it too much. im sure this is louder then a memphis

edit: it shows the rms rating to be 175 watts

this is 300rms http://cgi.ebay.com/RE-AUDIO-SR12-12-CAR-SUB-WOOFER-SUBWOOFER-SR-12-D4-new_W0QQitemZ390018936088QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Subwoofers_Enclosures?hash=item390018936088&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

not wanting to sound toooo stupid but if i am hooking a re sr 12 or kicker vr to the slash 250/1, do i want a dual 4 ohm, dual 2 ohm, etc etc?
If it's the 250/1v2 than it's 1.5ohm stable. You can either get the dual 4 wire it to 2ohms or the dual 2 and wire it to 4ohms.... With the v2 amps they are regulated to have the same output from 1.5ohm-4ohm.

it is the regular 250/1 made before the 250/1v2. i still think the same applies to that one. im guessing there is no real advantage over dual 4 or dual 2 then with this amp?
Yes, the 250/1 is made before the 250/1v2.

None that I can think of, unless you were going to run more than one sub, in your case, you shouldn't be.

I have about 50 watts on a 10" Nakamichi in a ported box and it sounds great. Gets louder than I need it for - you'd be surprised at low wattage systems designed for efficiency //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
