2500D question.. need answer

are u sure you checked the settings on your headunit?

I did a direct amp swap. No settings was changed from the Memphis 1000D to the 2500D.

But, yes I did check. All in order.

put the memphis back.....see if it is louder.

if youre running from a fused distro, check fuses

I put the Memphis in.. its working fine. So I reinstalled the 2500D. Making sure every wire was going exactly in the right place, double-tripled checked everything. Still not working.

Than u got f**ked up amp dude!Nah just playin,I see that u hooked up on one power and ground which makes me believe that u most likey "bridged"the amp,well if so just use one set of the termanals,the amp is bridged interally.

maybe post a picture of each side of the amplifier so we can see if anything doesn't look like its hooked up right, or adjusted correctly?

check ur highpass filter,which is really ur subsonic on the 2500d,set it to about 33hz,and make sure ur highpass switch is on

i had one that was barely putting out anything. then it didn't even work. had it sent to original owner and he sent it in and they sent him a new one.

i read the older 2500D's were having ALOT of problems lately..very possible it is malfunctioning..

I am the guy that sold the 2500d. I received the amp back yesterday and hooked it up today. I works fine. I think it had to of been an incorrect filter setting. Just wanted to let everyone know that the amp is working fine so no one thinks I sent out a faulty amp.
