I just recently got a Directed 1200/5 that is listed to put out 250 watts bridged. Are there any components out there that would love this much power and not puke on me? Just everyday listening. Mostly rock and a little of everything else. Any suggestions appreciated.

Heard those on the board...they sounded as if they needed a good deal of power to shine. Not cheap though.

If you don't plan to pound the ground all day long I bet the new Pioneer TS-C720PRS set could hang with that power provided you keep your gains in check.

They are rated at 200 watts max and are only about $250 on the net and ebay. Very robust driver at about 4-5 pounds each...a lot of aluminum in the frame and phase plug(good cooling) and copper in the motor. Also, the word seems to be that they have good low end as well.
