ok i have about 250 dollars and 1100 watts RMS in 1 ohm, im really confused as to what i want to get subwoofer wise, and i'd like to get the best for my money, i can't really go over 300 shipped, so heres what i have in mind, im going for spl, and a little bit of sq, also, not to sound ingnorant, i'd like to get as loud as possible with what i have, so here are my choices:

1 kicker L7 15"

2 12" alpine type R's (although i'd like to steer clear, i want something diffrent, but if worse comes to worse, i dont think these would be a bad choice)

2 Kicker comp Vr 15's

or 2 12" kicker solobaric l5 or l7, although i highly doubt i'd find either under 300 shipped, unless someone has used ones they'd like to sell (hint hint)

All of thes would be in ported boxes, tuned somewhere between 32-35 H. so anyones opinions are appreciated, or if you have any other suggestions that'd be amazing. thanks.

Well I have 1100rms to my subs at 1 ohm and I am using the r's in a sealed box. I have done 144.3 on the 190 a/c and 140.2 on the tl at the dash. So if you do ported you will impressed with the r's.

I would be a toss up really with the R's and l7's. But I think you would only be able to get 1 l7 opposed to 2 of the r's for around same price.

Good luck!

For the type of sound you're looking for, I'd toss up between an L7 15, and an SX 15...both can be had for a bit under $300 and are extremely loud when treated properly.

The difference between these two mainly arises in that the L7s like a little bigger box, and though it's reccomended to be large for the SX, it works well in just over 3 cubes.

I wouldn't recommend using under 3.5 cubes for the SX 15, use 4 cubes and tune it 32-35 and it will be loud as hell.
