Item(s) for Sale: 250 amp dual rectifier GM alternator. Its currently installed in a 95 camaro with an lt1 . cs144 large case. You'll have to check and see if this matches your application. I wont be responsible if it is incompatible with whatever you are trying to install it on.

Item(s) Description/Condition: Ive been using it for a few moths and have had 0 issues with it. I'm going smaller though and wont need it anymore. Its just like this but the fan is different. The fan make zero difference according to my local alternator guy though. I drilled out the threads on the top of the bracket to worth with my stock brackets. On the back bracket I need to grind off a bit to keep it from touching the external rectifier.

SO we dont know if it fits my 1997 cadillac with the 4.6 liter northstar engine??
got a pic? I just looke dit up. It seems to be a cs144 if the clock is different you might need to take it in to have it reclocked. My local guy charges 10 bucks for that. Im 90% sure the brackets are right but I dotn know if the extra rectifier will have room on your engine.

" Output is 250a+ @ 1200 engine rpm, "universal" wiring with a GM CS144 large case. I have adapted these to SEVERAL vehicles with ease!! it is an "extreme duty" dual rectifier alternator. Includes two heavy duty bridge rectifiers and a standard 14.7V set point voltage regulator. List price on these is $429.95 on their website.

It is a direct replacement for the fallowing alts: 7802, 7861, 7864, 7894, 7901, 7918, 7921, 7977, 8103, 8112, 8160, 8163, 8165, 8172, 8173, 8203, 8206, 8216, 8219, 8221, 8227, 8231"

I have heard you can swap them with a bracket. I am not sure if this is true, but I am very interested if it can be done.
I dunno man. Check it out. I dotn wanan be the guy that says yeah and then it not work. The alt is nearly new though as I hardly drive the car so its a screamin deal at this price.
