24's or 26's

24s with a nice tire on it,, like mentioned man if you are ridin on rubber band tires the slightest bump will bend or even take a chance at cracking your rim.. imo jus go wit the 24s and nice size tire for a smooth clean ride
yea i have been trying to decide between the two and its hard decesion, also i think chrome would look the best on my truck, i really like this truck and the rims looks **** good

and i believe i read somewhere its 4wd so my 2wd sits lower anyway and the 24's should fill up the well gap pretty good, also like what he did to the rims something like that i think would look alright with the color of my truck

needs more tire

well from ground to the middle of the top of the fender i have 33"

305/30/36=33.20"

305/25/26=32"

305/30/24=31.2"

305/35/24=32.4"

my stock tire says 275/60/17=30" how correct that is idk my current tires that size measure

29" but they do have around 20k miles on them so when they are brand new and the air is warm in the tires they are prob around 29.25-29.5 since the weight of the truck prob takes the tires down a half inch

whats a good sidewall thickness 25,30,35,40 or what

i figure that 305/30/26 is enough sidewall gives me around 7.25 between top and bottom for sidewall and tread so basically 3.6" between the rim and road isnt that enough to prevent any damage to the rims.

The 305/35/26 is only another 1.2" more sidewall so basically 4.75 between rim and road.

or should i go with the 305/40/26 is another 1.2 for sidewall so around 6" between road and rim does that sound abour right

**** bro i sold those same exact 26" giovanna caracas rims and 305/30/26 like-new about a month ago for $2500 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

wish i knew that would of bought them deff. actually i did see them forsale but need the 5x135

know where to get them cheaper or used ones

are you measuring from the ground to the fender? dont do that. measure from the center of your axle to the fender lip. then multiply that by 2 to get the biggest total size you can fit. and the same for side to side to make sure you have enough turning clearance. probably leave about 2-3" minimum around the whole outside of the tire to give for light wheel travel, more if you take it off road or rough roads

heres a google pic i found with 24's on f150

i know you said your not lowering it, but it will look muchhhh better with a 2/3 drop in that pic above. with 26"s, you will still have a gap.

keep checking ebay i saw the same ones sell for $2550 with only $200 shipping about the same time i was selling mine but they were also 6 lug. if you happen to find them and need 6-5 lig adapters i can get them on the low. actually i still have the ones from the caracas's but they are 6x139 x 5x4.5

so measure from the center of the rim basically to the fender and x2 why would i do that isnt no difference in ground up right

and is that total size rim and tire or just rim or wat

well down the road i might decide to drop it just depends. but from the center of the rim basically the center of the axle i have around 18-19" from center to the bottom of the fender and about the same for the side fender on the front.I know 26's will fit in the back just unsure a bout the front

Go with the 24's with a set of 305/35/24 as far as tires and you'll be just fine. The 305/35/24 is the more common 24 inch fitment thus it's alot cheaper than other 24 inch sizes....as far as 26's go, the height isn't the problem it's the turning ie. lockout to lockout is were you'll run into rubbing issues....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D

what part on the truck will rub the tires the fenders wouldnt i dont think something behind the tires like the shocks or something like that right???

i should be able to fit the 305/30/26 or even the 305/34/26

33.2 compared to 34.4" in diameter and for sidewall difference its 3.6 to 4.20 rather have that extra .80"
