24's or 26's

what part on the truck will rub the tires the fenders wouldnt i dont think something behind the tires like the shocks or something like that right???
the inner fender, or frame might. my 20"s on my S10 rub the frame in front of and behind the control arms. but you'll get used to how much you can turn so you dont always rub.

ok so basically will rub when i turn sharp or when i go through a small ditch or where the ground is uneven basically only time 26's might rub

step yo game up and get some 30's...
you step up to some hahah, pay the bill for them and i will get 30's

Heck EVERYTHING rubs on an S10;)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif;), even the factory wheels and tires rub in the exact same place on that vehicle....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D

yea i am hoping i can do 26's and not rub, and for the price difference of only 400 for rims and tires 24's vs 26's might as well do the 6's

until i buy new tires 800 compared to 1600 haha

but now i only get 1.5 turns of the wheel each way lol, i can barely make a U turn taking up 3 lanes. had to reverse doing one on a 4 lane highway lol

I have a buddy with a Lincoln Mark LT (same thing as your F-150) on 26's and they look like 24's. Get 26's and you won't have to look back wondering how it would of been. He rubs a bit going over speed bumps, potholes, and such but those are thing's you're supposed to be avoiding and slowing down for anyways.

Nice choice on the rims too. forget what everyone says. It's YOUR truck.

26's and i like the choice of rims
thanks

what do you mean they look like 24's just because the size of the truck or what is his the same year the 97-03 series and 2wd correct. If you can find out what size tires he has and post some pics if possible would be appreciated alot man

For comparison

are both of those 2wd stock height

what size tires are those on those trucks mainly wondering about the 26's

26's with 295/30/26 tire that will be 33" and call it a day..you should only rub on really sharp turns but i believe 24's will do that on that model truck anyway...
