2400 watts

So, I am running all stock electrical. (0/1 gauge for big three on the way)

And going to be pushing 2400 here within two weeks (1200 per Sa-12), do anything further? When you do you look into extra batterys? Will my stock handle this little girl 2400 watt system just fine?

anything more than 1k will need extra batts/alt. i ran 3k off one extra batt and stock alt. but my batts a beast lol... i would do 2 75 ah batts and a good agm under the hood. i wouldnt worry about an alt just yet. i can get you batts cheap too.

2400 watts is pretty powerful he'll 500 watts can get pretty loud with the right box 2400 will have you louder than A LOT of people with junk in their cars. a good sub with the right box is key and those sa 12s is a good choice. But you will need a extra battery I recommend 1 good battery. Remember the difference between 24000 watts and 2400 watts is only 10db. We as humans hear in about 3db increments, so if your running 2400 watts you would have to increase to 4800 watts to hear a difference .. A doubling of power results in a 3db increase.

Not so good had a long stay at state hospital and just got out... 17 days woooooo... But I am selling all my equipment so know anyone looking for such items let me know. All items under month old other then cd7000 LOL..

When I was running a dd m3 and a 4 channel, at most maybe 2700 of so watts altogether, I had my extra battery which is an 80lb 105ah, I still had drops to about 12.3 after a long day of play. Normally around 13.4 was the lowest. Alt was the stock 120.

depends on the amp and the vehicle as to exactly what you need, but to just take a guess, I would say at least a good 270a H.O. alt and the biggest and baddest AGM deep cycle battery you can fit under the hood.

I killed several batteries on 2400w before I finally dropped money on an alt. You can get away with it without one, but if you listen to it any length of time full tilt, you NEED an alt. I don't care what anyone on here says, if there is more current draw than there is generation, you will have voltage drop which causes things harm.
