240-300rms x 2

I'm looking for an amp that will do around 240-300 rms x 2 @ 4ohms.

They'll be running a set of Hertz MLK165's.

Can anybody recommend some?

rockford t3002. usually does around that amount on the birthsheets and can be had for around 100-150 used

I was looking at the xxk.

As for budget, I don't have one in mind really, I wanted to find an amp with what I wanted, and I'd get it.

I'd buy a quality 75x4 and bridge it.

If nothing else it gives you a LOT more options.

Unless you just WANT to spend $$$ for a 1000w amp and only use 500 of it.

That's what I was thinking. I was looking at the Arc Audio FD4150. It's 80x4 and bridges at 320x2 @4ohms

So that might work.

Plus it'll match the FD600.1 I'll have for my sub.

Kicker ZX850.4 amp would work perfect if you know how to wire 2 subs on 4 channels, not too hard.
