Yes but your stopping time is greatly reduced with 100 lb a peice wheels trust me I know,thats why I went with alloy 24's instead of big chrome steel wheels.Im sure your car squeaks over each and ever bump from worn bushings and tierod ends.Also you have a rwd car,Hes wanting 22's on a FWD car,might aswell be putting 24's on a dodge neon.
 
I say go with the first ice metals. Wheels that are 20 or 22 with spokes dont look good in my opinion b/c it emphasizes how short the spokes are. Those ice metal will give you the big plate look with some nice flick in the sun. Not to mention the lip on those look different and great from the rear.

 
Go big or go home!! if 22's are too big down the road it will easier to swap them out for 20's than it would be the other way around. I wish i would have put 26's on my silverado and 28's on my avalanche!!!
