220 amp alternator. Ebay edition????

Ok so I know all the recommended companies that build H/O alts, but unfortunately I can't afford to pay out $700 for a 320 amp alt.. cheapest I have found was from "Quality Power Auto" and it was a 250 amp for $400. Not a bad price but still a little more than my current budget..

I found this thing on ebay^^^^ My questions are A.) If this thing is rebuilt from a 120a alt, how do I know it's going to put out 220a? (or put out 220 regardless if it's rebuilt)

B.) Has anyone used an alternator that has been rebuilt to a higher amperage?

C.) would you buy this? I mean it's $250.. Although for $150 more I could get the Quality power 250a
