I thinking a 250 HO alt would be over kill and probably unnecessary for my build. so would a db electric 220 amp alt be fine. all im going to be running is a Mb Quart Q4.150 and maybe an AQ2200 or some other 2000 watt amp. o and ill probably have an xs bat under the hood and possibly one in the back.

so what you think?

well the money is whats holdin me back. a 250 amp alt is 450 the db electric 220 amp alt is like 230 or something like that. and the 200 i save would go towards the new sub amp
30 amps are not worth $220. if you dont like your voltage, you can always add another run of wire.
