20hz subsonic too low for 32hz box?

I'm wondering if a 20hz subsonic filter is too low for a box tuned to 32? I'm thinking of buying a pioneer amp that does 1200@1, 800@2, 500@4. but it has no subsonic filter and ima use my box, sub will be sd-2 12. should i just get a different amp or can i run one of these things and be fine?

24 is the low for 32hz. I had the same 9601 and had to pull it when I went ported.

only if your music choices consists of a lot of rap or super low chopped and screwed songs that actually reach that low. Most normal music genres dont even come close to 28hz.

Very possible. I'm at 35 and I had issues. Had to keep the volume low until I swapped it out.

I'm tuned to 32 Hz and my SS is low 20s and does just fine. I also listen to a bunch of slowed, chopped, skewed, etc stuff.

My box is tuned at 30.5 where should I set SS at ? Sub is 18" Fi team and don't mean to hijack thread just thinking about it as I read this .
