2016 Avalon Limited DMX906S Problem

I have a 2016 Toyota Avalon Limited with JBL Nav. I replace the head unit with a Kenwood DMX906S and Maestro RR interface. I have two problems:

1. The 906 beep tones that should be produced when you touch the screen are not heard, Yes the feature is enabled
2. The beep tones for the AC control are no longer heard.

The question is can you live with not having those feature sounds? Does the touch screen function without the sounds, and does the AC still work? Curious to hear your answer. If they really concern you, try contacting the manufacturer of your interface. Good listening.
