2015 Toyota 4 runner stereo upgrade

Have the base 8 speaker setup in my sr5 4runner. Not much power. Wanted to ad a 10 inch subwoofer, 5 channel amp, and processor. Can I stick with my stock 4 ohm speakers? Should I just upgrade? Was thinking the jl subwoofer. Any advice on brands for all? Thanks.

Your best choice is to consult with a local expert shop who can write up some options for you. Brands are not terribly important as long as you get the results you seek. Elite Auto Salon in Colorado Springs is reputable.
