2013 Ford Taurus looking for ideas of what's best???

I personally wouldn't replace the speakers in the car because the ones you have are probably close to the same quality you can buy unless you wanna spend a fortune. I have a 2012 Ford Fusion with subs added and the stock speakers sound great. With that large of a trunk you have a lot of room to play with, I personally would put 2 12" subs in the trunk, it should leave you a decent amount of usable space in your trunk. You can run the subs off of the stock radio, you will just need a Line Out Converter (LOC). These have a large range of quality and lot of people like to get high end ones but honestly, I bought one for 15 bucks and I don't notice any problem with it. You will just need to get the signal from your rear speakers or wherever you can find a wire to piggy-back off of. As far as brands go, you have a lot of options, my personal favorites are Rockford Fosgate and Soundqubed for subs. Hifonics is a good mid tier amp manufacturer, they perform to rating and are reletivily cheap. Hope this helps
