Got my wife an Ipad 2. I treated myself this year, got an Ipod classic, a Sundown Audio e12 and an Alpine MRP-500 amp.
I got a full homebrew kid from my bro, pretty jacked to be able to brew on my own time! Let the beer flow..clothes, homebrew kit, some misc microbrew tallboys, I bought myself a new pair of shoes, 3 blown sa8s and a set of dual 0/1 inputs
hells yea, if you have never done it before, I would get some books about home brewing as well, there is actually quite a lot to know if you wanna get good at it. any idea what your first batch will be? My kit came with a coffee stout, I'm prob gonna bust that out then switch over to some wheat ales.I got a full homebrew kid from my bro, pretty jacked to be able to brew on my own time! I can't stand the sound of them personally. The distortion sounds like poo, cleans are too solid state, and it doesn't really get that loud. You get what you pay for.Line 6 amps are great imo, especially for the price. I have a Spider III 75w and it does the job just fine for small gigs and recording. It gets plenty loud without breaking the sound, even with high gain distortion.
I also got 3 small "das boot" shot glasses (the german in meh) a $20 steam giftcard, and for shits and giggles a My Little Pony sticker book.
I had never played one until I picked this one up. Hard to believe u think 100 watt tube head isn't loud. Ive always ran crate combo amps before, one was xmas gift 15 years ago the other I got free about 5 years ago, so it aint hard to be better than that. You like those? I have been unimpressed with them since they came out.
Oh dude, my bad, I thought you were talking about the solid state Spiders. Never heard the tube ones. What I said applies to the solid state ones. And the BV stuff is pretty good. I had a 1960A cab back when I had a half stack and did Vintage 30's up top and kept the G12T-75's on bottom and loved it.I had never played one until I picked this one up. I still may. The bv is suppossed to have vintage 30s in it, I've beem too lazy to look yet. If not I'll prob grab those or g12t100s.
For a half stack and being under 500 bucks with a one year warranry on the head, I cant complain. I would love a mesa half or orange etc but don't play serious enough to justify the money on it. Plus I'd have less for car audio!
My brother has been brewing for years now, does a lot of full grain brews. They use 15 gallon steel drums in a permanent set up to do their brewing. But I have been brewing with my dad for the last year or so. I got an American Wheat kit and a Cream Ale kit along with the brewing supplies so those will be my first personal batches. They're nothing special though, just a kit that you cook up and let sit for 2 weeks, then bottle and let sit another 2 weeks.hells yea, if you have never done it before, I would get some books about home brewing as well, there is actually quite a lot to know if you wanna get good at it. any idea what your first batch will be? Yea the drinking part is the best lol, they say that homebrewing exists to give you something to drink while you clean your beer making equipment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifMy brother has been brewing for years now, does a lot of full grain brews. I was really enjoying the drinking part of home brewing, now I guess I have to get in on brewing up my own haha.
