2010 Ram Sub Box help

I want to add some subs to my 2010 Ram Crew Cab and would like some input on a box setup.

I would like to use these items which I already have: two 10" Dayton Audio RSS265HF-4 subs and my Rockford Fosgate Power1000 amp. I am just doing the subs for now, but will later upgrade the whole system and use the amp for everything.

I do not have a lot of knowledge towards box design but want to try to get a box that fits these criteria: fits underneath the rear seat replacing the existing storage trays, works well with my subs, is pre-made as I don't have time/tools to devote to build one, and is reasonably priced.

I have found several pre-made box options out there that are either up-firing or down-firing and range from .55 to .9 cu/ft per sub. I am wondering how the down fire would sound inside the floor vs the speakers firing at the bottom of the seat with grill?

Nice subs, and if you wire down to 1 ohm, then the amp should give you more than enough power for them... Have you done The Big Three yet?

Even with the storage trays, etc, taken out, you are still looking at having very little volume to work with. The Daytons will be okay sealed with around .75cube but that is still hard to obtain. Couldn't get that much on my 08 quad cab, even dropping to 1/2 MDF, so I looked at pre-fabs. The pre-fab boxes have some decent reviews, but I just didn't trust the quality of any I looked at, so I decided to fiberglass my own. Pre-fab or custom glassed were about the only options.

Have read several comments that downfiring under rear seat leaves something to be desired, and will be firing mine up. (Downfiring under front console/armrest, tho, seems to work well, but usually a single 12 or 15)

If you are willing to remove the front divider (the cupholder "wall") it opens up more options with additional volume available, as well as ability to set up to fire forward, and is actually something I am considering doing.

I have been doing some reading and the Fox Acoustic boxes seem to have a lot of followers. I did not see though that they offer a sealed dual 10" enclosure. They do have vented but I would not think there would be enough volume there to do vented properly...vented enclosures are bigger than equivalent sealed, right?? Plus, I think I read the Daytons do better sealed?

I also found this box which states it give 1 cu.ft per side:

Sorry Flex, but what are you referring to:

You aren't planning to run much power, but The Big Three is adding larger gauge wiring to the factory wiring on the alt, batt, and engine ground.

Sticky on it here, somewhere in the Electrical section, I think.

The Daytons generally love the small sealed space, but I don't have any experience with the pre-fab Foxbox enclosures. I don't think spacers would be necessary with it for 10s, tho...

Is there a difference in the floor between an 08 and 09 (keeping to the same 60/40 rear seat)?

If you see the links, between these 2 boxes, they look exactly the same yet one is rate at .8 cu ft per side while the other is 1 cu ft.
