Lol and why are they so horrible?
I just yanked out my oem spec 130a alt sheet i got.

For comparison:

Max alt output-165a

max output power-2228 watts

Ripple current- 35watts

Voltage set point- 14.5v

Output current table:

1600rpm-74 amp

1800- 90a

2000-101a

2500-119a

3000-134a

4000-150a

5000-159a

6000-165a

Tested @ 13.5v

Serves no relevance but thought i'd list it.

Dig the car though. Looks like a nice clean install too. Shoulda got the 3.5 though:)

Because it does nothing at idle. For daily use I would bet your stock amp might of been better. Haven't been into SPL in a while but last time I checked you can't rev past 2k. When your driving down the road your car is usually around 2k, and when your showing off to your friends your at idle. I know a few years ago you could find alts that do 140+ at idle although they only had a max of 220 or so, it was much more efficient, I'm sure they are even better now.

Just my 2 cents. Build looks good though, need a beauty panel for the box =)

You are aware that the bench test print out is based on alt rotations per minute right and not your engine rpms? It's in a 3:1 ratio (well supposed to be anyways.) so at the max 6,000 rpms I should be getting 300 amps at my cars 2000 idle. I haven't verified my amps but I can guarantee it does give out a significant increase thant stock 110 amp alt.

Yea lol the 3.5 is a bit faster but like 6-7k more and at that price I would PF just been like **** it and got a g37 coupe but those the seats won't go down so I was like ok no extra performance or luxury that means I can spend extra in car audio //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
