Nice to see an Illusion/Morel install here on the site. Everything looks clean, though my one (constructive) criticism would be for the full sheet of Focal mat over the open parts of the skin. Was the customer's intent to keep weight down during the install, because by the looks of it, that sheet won't do as much for keeping the backwave contained as a sheet of metal would have been. Considering the low mass of the mat, it still would have the potential to vibrate, thereby adding potential for midbass cancelation. Again, it is intended to be a constructive criticism. Please don't be offended by the comment.

Now onto building the amp rack trim panel.

Then body filer was added for smooth contour feel and look to the panel.

Then after sanding, panel was wrapped in matching trunk liner

Now its time to test fit the panel in the car.

As you can see the fit was perfect. The sound of this system was awesome. the rears blended effortlessly with the front stage. thw front stage was very detailed and strong bass not over powering from the mid bass.

if weight was a concern, using birch would have been the right move. the deadener is nothing compared to 3/4" MDF.

I like the attention to detail with the tweeter pods - the only thing missing on the doors is absorption in the door cavity.

awesome speaker choice - I would love to hear that Morel line some time.

did you use foam seals to seal the midbass to the door panel?

I love the attention to detail with the amp wiring - well done!

Very nice install in one of my favorite vehicles. The speaker wire in the doors looked to be quite a chore to run. My only question is why the need for 0 gauge wire? Is there really that much power needed for this system?
