****2009 NFL Draft**** Winners and losers, thus far.

Once again i feel bad for Raiders fans. Dumb azz Al Davis drafts the fastest WR in the draft, forgetting that in the NFL u actually need to run routes and catch balls to score.

Steal of the draft was # 44 by the Dolphins, Pat White QB from WVU. He was the most impressive QB at the combine and can run a 4.4 40 time. I can't wait to see what Bill Parcells does with this guy, perfect for their Wildcat system they've been running. Was hoping to see him in a Pats uniform, cuz Belicheck would have done something crazy with this guy.
holy hell white went 1st day?

I didnt even watch today to see if he went because everybody had him going in the later rounds.

You watch and see how well white runs that system, I wouldnt be suprised to see pat white as the primary qb in 2 years

From what has been said over the past couple weeks, this years draft isnt really all that strong. No great RBs or QBs at all. Besides maybe Aaron Curry there wasn't a specific player that was so much better than everyone else. Doesn't look to be alot of superstars this year.

Thats why we watch college football and dont listen to what other people say //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Crabtree i think is gonna be a great pro: he's a 4.4-4.5 guy, 6'3" 220lbs, great hands, extremely strong for a WR, and is a very good route runner. He's no different from any other WR drafted, they're a lil cocky and very confident in their abilities. Would a team really want a WR not confident in himself, i don't think so.

He has good size, but he is coming off an injury, he doesnt block very well, and is more fast then quick..He will get jammed off the line alot in the pros

IMO i think Josh Freeman is gonna be the best Pro QB out of the quarterbacks drafted. He's a big guy 6'6 240, strong arm, just needs to work on his accuracy. Which definately will be addressed by BUCS coaches.
I agree with you there, but whoever picks up Graham Harrell will get a hell of a qb at a discounted price, oh and Pat White will be a pro bowl player within 5years if he stays healthy

I don't think he'll see the light of day as a QB. He's listed as a WR for a reason......

winners- rams, dolphins

the fins made a little of stretch on pat white but vontea davis is perfect for them

rams got lairintuis and jason smith nuff said

losers- cowboys, raiders, and pats

cowboys no picks in first and a very late pick 2nd bad move

raiders well that pretty much says it all

and the pats draft is like "who"

Did you read any of the combine reports on him?

EVERY one had him listed as the most impressive QB at the workout, he also did not work out as a reciever but a couple times, all the other times was as a QB

He won't be playing a WR, he will be used in the wildcat to begin with, and if he improves as much as I think he will with decent coaching, I expect him to bulk up and be as good as Vick was pre dogfighting

I do watch a TON of college football and QB + RBs this year was very weak, u cant even deny that. There also wasnt that "gotta have it" player this year(maybe Curry or Crabtree if any) like in past years.

About Crabtree its actually the complete opposite of what you're saying, by jamming him off the line he'll use his size to push back. Thus freeing himself up, i actually think DBs/safeties will give him a little space then use their speed to counteract his size. I agree with the run blocking, but how much did he really need to have at Texas Tech lol. In the NFL coaches will teach him to use his size more effectively to run block. I just can't see him not being a superstar in the NFL with all his skill sets.

I agree about Pat White, he's gonna be a serious trouble for AFC teams this year to cover. Him in that wildcat system w/ Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams is gonna be incredible to watch.

I hope your right, watching the wildcat offense is entertaining.

If he doenst bulk up it won't matter he will be used like kordell stuart was and then phased out. He hasnt had any coaching in 2 years at WVU, so i expect him to thrive and pick things up quickly there.

It's a good thing McDaniels doesn't live near me. He might have not woke up breathing this morning

This son of a ***** is partially to blame as well..

Makes no sense to trade a top 5 (probable) next year for a 5'9 CB with a history of injuries. To not address the DT position in the 1st /2nd is just pure stupidity.

Crabtree is 6'1 and what makes you think Josh Freeman is going to be the best QB drafted? Granted he didn't have a lot of weapons at K-State, but all his good passing games came against weak non conference opponents, he struggled against the mighty Big 12 defences last year. lulz

26 total TD's vs teams with non winning records or I-AA teams

8 total TD's vs teams with a winning record
