Winners - 49ers - Get Michael Crabtree w/ 10th Pick. Personally i think he's the best WR to come out of college in years. Crazy that he dropped this far.

 

LOSERS - Raiders - Passed on Crabtree, Maclin, Harvin, Hakeem Nicks, and Kenny Brit to pick Darrius Heyward-Bey. This guy was like the 5th rated WR this year, basically took him cuz he had the fastest 40 time at the combine. Al Davis ruins another year for the Raider.

 

Lions - Gave Matthew Stafford 6yrs, $41.7 mil guaranteed, up to $78mil. He's an unproven rookie and wasn't even the consensus best QB this year. He's now one of the top 5 payed QBs in the game lol.

eh, crabtree dropped because of his character issues. running his mouth about how great hes going to be when he hasnt even worked out for anyone yet. im all for confidence but makes you look like a TO or Chad ocho cinco already......

Winner:

Denver, they picked up this years defensive rookie of the year and a back that can play every down both in the first round (probably the best back in the draft). They could possibly hold both offensive and defensive rookies of the year. They also got as pretty good DB in Alfonso Smith. 5 players on the first day is pretty good especially when two of them were first rounders.

Losers:

Oakland, they picked up 2 guys they could have gotten in the 2nd and 3rd round. They really wasted their picks. They passed on Crabtree which was astonishing to me.

Crabtree is very similar to Charles Rogers, overrated...In college he had an amazing quarterback, and a pass happy coach...

The Packers, Jags, and Broncos are making the biggest impact I think so far...

From what has been said over the past couple weeks, this years draft isnt really all that strong. No great RBs or QBs at all. Besides maybe Aaron Curry there wasn't a specific player that was so much better than everyone else. Doesn't look to be alot of superstars this year.

 

Crabtree i think is gonna be a great pro: he's a 4.4-4.5 guy, 6'3" 220lbs, great hands, extremely strong for a WR, and is a very good route runner. He's no different from any other WR drafted, they're a lil cocky and very confident in their abilities. Would a team really want a WR not confident in himself, i don't think so.

 

IMO i think Josh Freeman is gonna be the best Pro QB out of the quarterbacks drafted. He's a big guy 6'6 240, strong arm, just needs to work on his accuracy. Which definately will be addressed by BUCS coaches.

Rogers was never the same after he got injured. He was also plagued with positive drug tests his whole career dating back to his college days, which says alot about a player IMO. If your comparing Crabtree to Rogers first 4-6 games then your right he was good, after that he got hurt and was never the same player.

Even if crabtree was overrated, harvin and maclin were much better picks, and harvin is one of the fastest players in college last year, there is a reason he was the fastest player on NCAA football 09

Once again i feel bad for Raiders fans. Dumb azz Al Davis drafts the fastest WR in the draft, forgetting that in the NFL u actually need to run routes and catch balls to score.

 

Steal of the draft was # 44 by the Dolphins, Pat White QB from WVU. He was the most impressive QB at the combine and can run a 4.4 40 time. I can't wait to see what Bill Parcells does with this guy, perfect for their Wildcat system they've been running. Was hoping to see him in a Pats uniform, cuz Belicheck would have done something crazy with this guy.
