idk about quality but they are low watts... looking at the 15;s on their site it says they only use 200 watts.... wonder if they are any good also.

1200 rms each isn't really "low watts". They look pretty hoss.

That's an older model.

I've seen random info on the new Stroker series too. Some websites say they're 2,000 watts RMS while others say 1,500 or 1,200. I'd say 2,000 sounds about right. Either way, I wouldn't call them weak.

I'm going to be doing a new build before the end of the year, and that's why I've been asking about subs. I live in a rural area, so I don't get to demo anything other than JL, Alpine, Memphis, Kicker and RE. I've owned all of the above, so I want to do something different this time...

I have one in my garage.... thing is a beast. Weighs 75-80lbs.... they are happy with about 2000 watts.... For some reason though smaller enclosures are recommended from Cerwin Vega?

Thanks for speaking up, man. Do you think 2x 12" Strokers powered by 2x RF T2500-1BDs would be a worthwhile project for my 2007 Quad-Cab Dakota? I should be able to keep the enclosure under the window line, so that would be kind of cool.

I'm looking at 18" RE XXX's, 18" DC Level 4XL's, 12" Eclipse SW8200's, 15" DD 9500's and 12" Audiopulse Axis' among others. I'm interested in lots of different configurations and models, and I'm just trying to get some opinions.

I would do 1 4-5 k amp rather than 2 2500 watt amps, easier install, cheaper (generally) and probably a bit more efficient9 due to one power supply rather than 2). I would love to see some stroker pros in a dakota. Should be fun

Sounds pretty good, but i would have to agree with cx-7heaven.....

Another thing to consider is that RF tends to underrate their amplifiers by a considerable amount. My T20001BD benches 2880 at 14.4v @ 1 ohm. The Cerwins dont like being overpowered on the daily setups, from my experience. I would try to stay between 2k-2.5k .... you dont want to BBQ subs that cost as much as the Strokers do....

Also keep in mind that the Stroker Pros were never designed with SQ in mind. They are straight up SPL monsters.

Anyways, good luck with your Dakota setup. Would be intresting.... I just put one in a 2003 F150 Extended cab...... And i hope your pockets are deep for the Strokers + Amps to push them + Electrical to back those....

I have my heart set on the T2500-1BDs. I love the looks of them, and Rockford Fosgate has never let me down. The ARC Audio SE4000 is the only other amp I'm interested in at the moment, but the 2 RF's are more powerful and less expensive.

I'm not really concerned about the wiring, batteries, alts, etc. Everything will be done properly no matter what equipment I choose.

The Dakota is a PITA as far as audio is concerned. You have few options unless you're willing to lose the back seats. I've thought of doing a rear console enclosure, but I want more. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Money will not be an issue. I'm not Mr. Moneybags, but I can afford to do this type of thing once every 3 or 4 years...

You are talking about the new Rf right? At first I was still thinking last years( the silver ones) they made a 4k in that line, but the new rf is only 2.5 k. I like the new rf 2.5 as well, I know you want it for the meters!
