very nice, its amazing when its that easy lol. I had something similar with the door panels on my truck. I was used to having to find the hidden screws and then pop all the little plastic push pins and such. Was much easier pop 2 little screws and they just slid up. Hoping the dash will be as easy when I attack it.

PS whats the scent on that little blue air freshener ya got there thats poking out of the air vent??? Was trying to figure out what it was and then remembered my friend had some of those style air fresheners

ahh lol. Not sure if I missed it but did you decide on what is going in the dash? Keeping the factory HU or are you going with a new HU? Just guessing there is something going back in if you were pulling the factory one.

Unless of course you were like me and just pulling it apart for the sake of it.

pioneer Avic D3. I guess I never stated what the full system is.

Pioneer Avic D3

2x Kicker L7

3.3^3ft @ 35Hz

HiFonics Brutus 2006D @ 1ohm (2Kw RMS)

HiFonics Zeus 4406 @ 2ohm (110w X 4)

4x Infinity Kappa 6 1/2" 3-ways

All kicker power wires

Stinger Platinum signal cables

I like that system plan sounds like its gonna be pretty sweet. How are you enjoying doing this work in the nice 20°-30° weather we are having lately. Kinda hoping to start on my truck but not sure how well running wires in 20° weather with snow on the underside will go. May have to wait for one of these wonderful new england warm-up days.

Pfffft looks like the right amount of screws too me, but then again I like screws in boxes.

well all the seems lined up very well (no gaps at all), I used a LOT of titebond 2 (thats why it glossy near all the seems, wiping off the excess, and a LOT of countersunk, 1 5/8" screws. don't have to worry about the box being sturdy. LOL

As for the weather, well the work log gives me a good excuse to run in the house alot during the install. Also, I am running the wires under the hood first, so I can fire up the car and kick the heater on high for everything inside. Though they didn't package my wiring harness with all my stuff >.

Oh NOES, he said teh raid lol. WoW I'm guessing (I play a 70 warrior on Bloodhoof)

Definitly takes dedication for car audio, but then again being without bass will make me do crazy things. Thinking I may have to do just the same this weekend, bundle up and as Nike says, Just Do It!

lol.... whats worse is I am GM so cant just blow off the raid.... well I can but then I have alot of crying I need to listen to next time I log in.... lol

70 UD Holy Priest

70 UD Sword Rogue

70 Tauren MS Warrior (about 36% crit unbuffed)

and many other lowbies....

God I'm such a nerd. need to balance it with systems and rap music //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Oh, to answer a system related question, fwb 1234 asked what I can fit, well I could fit alot bigger there, probably more like 5^3ft if I didnt want to come above the seat, but this is smaller as i wanted to save some storage space. Need to drive this thing everyday for work.

Dayumn honestly I don't know how I slack soo much lol, just got my 70 war in n00bler outlands greens and whatever I smithed lol. Oh yea and he is a human too, so the most boring of races lol. Hoping to find some more time in the near future to get back into a guild and back to raiding.

Seemed I played more back when I had a girlfriend lol, its kinda a sad realization that just hit me lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Oh well back to being audio geeks instead of comp geeks lol

So I am running my own ground back. I know some say this is not necessary or that unless you run a certain gauge its better to use the chassis. Whatever, all that aside, running 4ga power and ground all the way back to a 6 farad cap.

Through the firewall:

not in both pictures you can see the sides of the inter-cooler, and in the right one you can see the soon to be replaced Blow off valve.
