2008 chevy silverado speaker/ dead speaker issue

I have a 2008 chevy silverado 1500 and 10% of the time all the speakers play at once as it should be. The rest of the time , maybe one will play or 2 sometimes I get lucky and I get 3 to play but they never hardly all play at once. I replaced the stock radio and the wiring harness and the problem still persist. Apparently this is not uncommon. Anyone have any clues how to stop this problem?

My first guess would be faulty connection with the speaker wires. Since it is an 08 I'm also leaning away from that and maybe to something else electrical, thats a tough one, but it sure sounds like faulty speaker wire connections.
