right now its a toss up between 2 sets of wheels...I have decided on 17's because I want to keep ride comfort and gas mileage ...I sorta like the black centered wheels ...but in a way I like the silver finish...its sorta retro and mine has the silver grill...Here are pics of the two choices right now....I posted pics of the black centered wheels before but am trying to put both sets side by side to compare

Silver with the silver grill. The black base and chrome lip is played out now. I seen an Aveo with those wheels the other day. Chrome is always nice.

I'm sorta leaning towards the silver...they cost a little more but I think they will work with the body style of the HHR

I've about 98% decided on the silver...since this isn't really a show vehicle and just being built as a daily beater to attend a few various car audio shows...I was wondering what the opinions of the silver in the 16's...since the factory wheels are 16's ...I'm just thinking its better than wasting these tires...plus they have to be de mounted anyway for the TPM's....I'd really love to run 18's I think those would be perfect...for the vehicle...20's on rubber bands wouldn't look right...at least I don't think so...I have some good quality 17" tires but they would have to be de mounted off my wheels I had on the Focus....so more money....There isn't $100 difference in cost between 16's 17's and 18's ...from what I can tell....Just curious what others think...

I would go with the 17s and find a shop that would demount and mount your 17s tires for cheap. Its better to spend that little bit extra now then regret to not have in the future. Either way it looks like you are looking at demount and mounting tires for either 16s or 17s, might as well just do the 17s and keep your stocks on those tires for emergencies.
