2006 Scion Tc

[Lucidity]

I have a 2006 Scion Tc with nothing upgraded at all, I was looking to buy 2 Subs, and a amplifier, I have around $1,000 to spend on a nice system, with good sound and nice bass. Please give me some idea's and suggestions.

just buying subs won't give you "good sound". good sound requires good speakers with a good amp on them and sufficient acoustical treatment to the doors. the tC is a challenging starting point due to large holes and highly resonant metal. the stock speaker system is awful.
