2006 chevy trailblazer install help

attemped a deck install on this truck..epic fail i need your guys help..

hes got a pioneer deh 510 deck gm antena adapter and a Metra Electronics Corp. - GMOS-01 harness.....it has onstar...i got the deck to power up but no sound was emited than the battery in the truck died and the deck flickerd off:crying: i put my battery in the truck and got everything working again but this time the deck woulnt power up..i bypassed the onstar pos than it powerd up again but still no sound.....any one know what it could be plz i really need the help:crying:

u have a factory amp that needs a interface for it to work.. my monte had one but no onstar.. i got the scosche door chime interface at walmart for $40 and it worked.. dunno about your onstar tho.. might be a diff harness.. search ebay for trailbrazer interface

I have onstar without bose, all I did was get the cheap harness and it worked fine, just no onstar now.

Make sure all your connections are right..

Does it have Bose SYS? If so i think it has a factory amp, you need to either bypass that or run new wires to the speakers. There might be a harness that plugs into the factory harness that might work also. Ive never had this problem with my Trailblazer. Of course i just dont hook up the chimes as there anoying and now it dont ring when i dont wear my seat belt. If none of this works go to trailvoy.com there are alot of knowledgeable people on there that can help you.

Sounds like you have the Bose system and you need the GMOS-04 inorder for it to work. If the HU you are trying to put in does not have a front and rear out then you are going to run into more problems.
