At times I wish I would have enlisted in some part of the military, nothing I would like better then be given a gun and told to kill as many of those SOB's as I can. But I didnt, I am now 25 and have a career going for me that is hard to just drop and go. I am on the other hand planning on getting on as a reserve with a sheriffs dept, I know that its not the same as fighting in combat but it would still be a service to my community on the war against crime.

As far as the draft, I dont think I would be called, But I would proudly go and even take some of my own guns if allowed. Just drop me and my 50 off in the mountains I will go to town.

And as far as as G. W. being like Hitler, you guys are way off. Liberals are pushing this country closer and closer to Socialism. Socialism is a step in the same direction as Communism. Hitler was a Communist. = Therefor, Kerry would have been closer to being Hitler then G. W. will ever be

Actually if you want to get historical and nit-pick, Hitler was a Fascist...which is all the way to the Right.

Fascism - A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

Communism - A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people.

Now, im not trying to compare GWB to Hitler on a level plane, but you can compare the actions of our present government and majority population to fascism. Sure we dont have a dictator, but we do have a president who acts on his own accord and totally disregards any sort of outside influence or advice. Were not socially controlled, but some would argue that our citizens have lost some degree of their rights for the sake of 'safety'. I wont compare the Iraq situation to terrorism, but I will say that there are things that have happened over there that OTHER groups of people besides right-wing americans would consider completely wrong. Finally, I see nothing wrong with being nationalistic or patriotic, but when cases of racism are nationally acceped as patriotism is when I start to hang my head in shame because of my fellow 'americans'. Please do not reply to this post using any sort of derogatory language because I will assure you that I am not a 'whiney liberal' or some socialistic freak like you probably think, I am just a person who bases his opinion on the way I think things should be, just like you.
