No, and do some research before replying. REPUBLICANs are known for things like enforcing christian values (anti-abortion, censorship, etc. ) but these are not veiw points coming from the right, they are just assocaited with the political party. To the right of republicans are libertarians who favor leagalization of things like prostution and drugs, then to the FAR right are anarchists. Not everything George W. Bush or the Republican party does is conservative, they just happen to be the more conservative party.

And the labels "republican" and "democrat" really have no concrete meaning - after all, Lincoln was a Republican arguing against pro-slavery Democrats...times change. Most of the South up until the civil rights movement was Democratic.

Im not a coward, I just disagree with going to war for the reasons we are currently at war. If there was a clear cut danger, such as another Hitler or someone like that who was trying to take over the world, you better believe I would be the first person in line to sign up...but with the current situation, I'd rather not subject my life to poor intelligence. I have better things to do. More power to you for protecting this country, but to me life is more important than trying to be a hero for the wrong reasons. I support our troops, however I do not support our motives this time around.
Excuses.

You would find a reason not to fight regardless of the different threat posed.

i once heard a comedian say on BET,"why the fvck would i vote for a president, that i could beat in a spelling bee?"
i giggled, i really hope it doesnt come true because im turning 18 pretty soon.
somehow that doesnt suprise me it was on BET

Yeah, the two sides basically switched names in the 20th century. So basically, the Republicans back then probably share more similarities with Democrats of present time...with some exception (i.e. Roosevelt).
