2005 bmw 320i

Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone here has ever done any installation work on a 05 bmw 320i? I have a guy who wants amp/sub installed with an inline converter, I'm also hearing mixed things about these cars using fiber optics speaker wire, if so, is this going to be a problem? he has the standard audio system in the vehicle

Also if anyone has any tips on how I'd run the inline converter in this vehicle that would be helpful

im pretty sure that the speaker wire isnt run through fiber optics i dont see how this would be possible fiber optics is just a signal wire using light and no you can not splice into it i know that the german big 3 (bmw benz and vw) have some fiber optics in the convenience system. i you go behind the radio be careful fiber optics is not something you want to replace
